Quiet neighborhood adjacent to picturesque El Kabayo forests and wetlands, so close to nature: Bird-watch from the balcony on early mornings (6-8 am) or late afternoons while watching sunset at the end of day (4.30-6 pm). Walk: 30 min to a hidden waterfalls with clear trails; 15 min to the riding stables. Drive: 15 min to city center, 10 minutes to the Subic Bay Yacht Club, 5 min to the golf course & Pamulaklakin River; 20-30 min to beaches. The space This is a 3-BR, 1/4 of an apartment building. It is inside a gated community with 24/7 security. It has 2 queen beds and 2 single beds, per bedroom can accommodate 2 persons= total 6 persons for the entire house. Maximum occupancy is 7. We will put a mattress for the 7th person with an additional charge of 1500 pesos. What will make your visit a memorable one is seeing that your vacation address is located on top of a hill, at the edge of a rainforest with nice sunset view from the veranda/balcony. The verdant forest below is home to 183 unique bird species that include Luzon hornbills, green parrots, hawk-eagles, falcons, sunbirds. We wake up early to spy on birds and listen to their concert! Our photos have specific descriptions of what you may expect. This Subic address is perfect for intimate gatherings of family and friends. It is like having a picnic everyday. Note: The apartment is on the 2nd floor with a few steps. (The Philippines' 2nd floor is 1st floor to Europe.) Guest access You will have the entire apartment for your own relaxation and enjoyment. Guests may access all areas specified in the photos. Parking: The apartment has a single parking garage but there are other free parking spaces around it. Should you need assistance, we will be happy to help you plan your itinerary ahead of your visit. We can also help arrange nature tours for you (that include Boodle Fight picnic at "our hidden waterfalls," canoe paddling in a mangrove park, sailing & watersports in open Subic Bay, etc.). These require separate fees direct to service providers. A menu of things to do may also be provided with assistance from the Aetas (the Indigenous Peoples that live in the land) tourism community. It may include: One-day trekking (with trails), environment and survival demonstration, cooking and eating the Aeta way (rice and viands cooked in bamboo and banana leaves, grilling.) Supervised swimming at the waterfalls, if weather permits. Some of these activities may require fees directly paid to them. You will be guided accordingly, prior to confirming any of these activities.
