Located near the Mettowee River in the village of historic Granville New York, this home will be the perfect place for your stay. More spacious and affordable than any hotel, this simple home allows you to enjoy the comforts of "home away from home". Ideally situated a quick drive from Vermont mountains and skiing, and a short drive from Lake George, this home is well- suited for vacationing or family trips. We look forward to having you stay when you come to the lovely village of Granville. The space We've worked hard to make this home an affordable, family-friendly place for folks to stay. When we travel as a family, we look for places that are affordable and clean. If your desire is to have an unforgettable "experience" for a stay, our home may not be suited for you. :-) Our home is simple, clean, and is absolutely affordable (our price is unbeatable). What you will have at our home is a clean, comfortable space for your group or family to have more room, the option to make your own meals, and save money while enjoying the area and making memories. This home has a nice living room area with several games/dvds/books available to you (in closet of the twin bedroom). Living room has one Roku smart tv with many free channels. NOTE: our bedrooms DO NOT have TVs. That is intentional.:) Our kitchen is stocked with all the basics- pots and pans, dinnerware, waffle maker, coffee pot (a MUST) and coffee! Salt and pepper are provided as well as basic spices. Just bring your own food and you’re set! We provide kitchen towels, dish soap, and scrubbies for dish-washing. There is also a dish washer with provided detergent for that. Breezeway/entry is nice in the summer/spring/fall for eating or visiting in. Also a great place to leave your boots! 1 Full bathroom is stocked with clean towels, washcloths and hand towels. Toilet paper, and handsoap are provided. We only provide very basic shampoo and conditioners in large bottles. 1 bedroom includes 2 twin beds and pillows/blankets/linens. 1 Bedroom includes 1 Queen bed with 4 pillows, linens and blankets. 1 Bedroom includes 1 full bed with 2 pillows/blanket/linens. NOTE: this bedroom entrance is accessed by walking INTO the queen bedroom. We are a pet-friendly bunch, but do require a fee for pets. While we have WiFi, our home does NOT have cable tv- it does the smart tv with lots of free channels. Again, we intentionally put only one tv in the living room and none in bedrooms. Our basement has washer and dryer with provided generic detergent/dryer sheets for you to use as well. Things we do NOT provide: Paper towels (we find that hand towels work just as well and are more environmentally friendly!) Body wash Food Cable TV Pet food dishes or supplies for pets Guest access Guests do not have access to the garage. Other things to note Check-in time is anytime AFTER 4PM (this is important so that we have the proper time for cleaning/sanitizing). Check-out is no later than 10AM (this is strictly enforced since we must have proper time designated for cleaning/sanitizing). If a guest checks out earlier than 10, we very much appreciate knowing so that we can begin the cleaning as early as possible. PET POLICY: We are open to well-trained furry family members joining you on your stay (some exclusions apply). WE MUST BE NOTIFIED OF A PET STAYING PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. A pet fee does apply since we do a thorough removal of hair after each pet stay. This fee is automatically entered into your price when you select that you have a pet coming. If bringing pets, bring all supplies with you: food bowls, leashes etc. Our yard is not fully fenced in, so it is important to keep dogs on leashes at all times. Please clean up after your pet as you would in any public place. PLEASE place all pet waste IN trashbags, not thrown loose in the garbage receptacle. We would appreciate it if guests do not allow pets to sleep in the beds, but rather, bring their own pet beds.
