A charmingly restored old water mill on the banks of a trout river, a property of 10 hectares of woods and meadows in a protected natural area: ideal for a quiet stay with many excursions within an hour by car. We are labeled 3 stars which guarantees you comfort, regularly checked by an official body. The space The calm of the countryside a stone's throw from the sea: come and stay in our old water mill. Tastefully renovated, it has retained its authenticity while offering you all modern comforts. Imagine a small wooded road that only serves our hamlet, including our house and another gîte: you are in Beuzidou. The property, with about ten hectares of gardens, meadows and woods, is bordered by a river rich in wild trout. While walking, it is not uncommon to come across a heron or a deer, to follow the flight of a river wagtail or a dragonfly... or our animals on a walk (chickens, geese, goats and a couple of llamas). All year round, the blooms follow one another: mimosas, tulips, daffodils, camellias, rhododendrons, hydrangeas, roses... Between Daoulas and Landerneau, our location is ideal for exploring Finistère, without spending hours driving. You will quickly set off to conquer the Monts d'Arrée or breathe in the spray of the Côte des Légendes, the Brest harbor or the Crozon peninsula. Unless you prefer a trip under the seas of the world in Océanopolis. And if you need any advice or ideas for things to discover, I'll be there to guide you. On site you will also find tourist brochures and I will send you interactive maps with our favorite restaurants or walks to do. The mill (classified as a 3-star furnished vacation rental) includes an entrance-veranda, a large living room on three levels above the headrace (you can see the water from the sofa!) with a dining area in front of the large fireplace (wood is offered), a large bedroom (a double bed). Upstairs you will find a bathroom with bathtub and toilet, a separate toilet and a large bedroom with three single beds. Outside, a terrace with table and chairs, barbecue and parasol is arranged along the canal. In the village (3 km) you will find a bakery. Other shops are in Daoulas (10 min drive) or Landerneau (15 min drive). Numerous activities are possible: hiking, golf, fishing, fitness, sea trips, kayaking, visits...
