Original Paddington Village Cottage

With lots of light and open space this house has been thoughtfully designed. The best of Sydney is within a 10 min walk or cab ride! Paddington is one of Sydney's most stylish, most historical and vibrant areas! The space You will be situated in Paddington's original village! This area was built in 1850's during the construction of Victoria Barracks. With tiny streets and quaint cottages there is very minimal local traffic. The home itself is bathed in light. There is a beautiful big oak table that is wonderful to use for dinners or as a work table. The entire back section of the space opens out onto a secluded courtyard. A marble bathroom also opens fully onto the courtyard. With so much glass it feels like you're outside! On the ground floor there is also a lounge room with a comfortable feather filled sofa, TV and DVD player. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a laundry on the ground floor also. Upstairs there is a comfortable queen size bed with european linens. The space comfortably sleeps two people. There are two windows in the bedroom with a lovely outlook over the rooftops of Paddington. Ceiling fans in every room assist the breeze that you will have being in Sydney's true eastern suburbs - so close to the coast. Guest access Guests should relax and feel at home in the space. - Flat screen Tv - DVD Player - Washing Machine - Wi fi - Timber floors - Marble tiled tiled bathroom As it is a small quiet neighbourhood I ask that my guests respect the space and the neighbourhood. We ask guests to be mindful of neighbours with minimal noise after 11pm and treat the house like their own home leaving it in a tidy state. To reduce our carbon footprint, we also ask that all lights, heaters, fans, and other electrical devices please be turned off when not being utilised and when checking out of the house. Kindly leave high heels at the front door so as not to damage our beautiful timber floor. Thank you. Other things to note Have I already said that you will love the house and location? - PLEASE NOTE: there is no additional cleaning fee for stays less than four weeks. For longer stays of four weeks or more there will be an additional cleaning fee of $140 AUD.
