In the summertime the house is a weekly rental from Sunday to Sunday. This house has the best amenities of probably any home you can rent in Lake Tahoe in this price range. An amazing game room with pool table, arcade, 80 inch HDTV, ping pong, foosball. A backyard with a luxurious grass lawn, a full size professional bocce ball court, and a sauna and a hot tub. A great room with a jukebox, seating for the whole family indoor or outside, and huge windows throughout the home. This home has everything you need for a vacation. Oak Ridge Retreat is a luxurious South Lake Tahoe Home complete with 5 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a jukebox, impressive backyard, arcade, sauna, and a whole lot of character. Up to 12 guests can be accommodated inside. Guests will have access to tlarge driveway that fits four cars. While vacationers can easily be entertained inside, you will also find the vacation home within close proximity (6 miles) to trailheads, the lake, downtown, and ski lifts at Heavenly. Enter into the main living space clad with dramatic oversized windows. These windows offer an abundance of natural light and gorgeous views of the surrounding pine trees. This common living space is arranged with a living room, kitchen, and dining area. The living room is furnished with a plush sectional couch placed in front of a flat screen TV and fireplace. The fireplace is suitable for lighting on a chilly night as you get cozy on the couch. Curl up with your loved ones for a movie or pull out a board game. A jukebox is also available to keep the tunes going. WIFI is provided for your convenience. A half bathroom is tucked away down the hall for all guests to share. Behind the living room is a well-equipped kitchen. The kitchen has a generous amount of counter space and updated appliances for a chef to whip up their favorite dish. Cook anything from a tasty treat to a gourmet meal. Guests are encouraged to keep a conversation going with the chef in the kitchen by taking a seat at the built-in breakfast bar. In addition to this dining space, the formal dining table is steps away with seating for eight. When dinner is hot and ready to serve, call your guests over to eat a home cooked meal together. Alternatively, if you enjoy dining alfresco, step outside onto the balcony. A BBQ is ready to be fired up for a juicy steak. A picnic table is prepared for you to dine, drink, and unwind in the crisp mountain air. Down below is an impressive fenced in backyard - perfect for letting the kids run freely without having to worry. You will find a variety of games out here ranging from horseshoe to a bocce ball court. A hammock resides between the trees, tempting you to take a nap while you listen to the leaves ruffle in the wind. Plenty of outdoor seating options are scattered in the yard for guests to watch games and spend quality time together. If any of your guests appear to have gone missing, they are likely hanging out around the deck. Next to the deck is a private hot tub and sauna. Relax and pamper yourself - the hot tub is also the best place to stargaze from. After a dip in the hot tub a washer and dryer are assembled inside, handy for wet swimsuits. Activities continue inside as you enter the game room. Take your pick of games from pool, ping pong, foosball, or arcade games. A large table is also useful for pulling out board games. When you are ready to catch up on some rest, there are five bedrooms to choose from. Two bedrooms are located upstairs. The master bedroom has a King-size bed, TV, sitting area, and attached bathroom for privacy. The master bathroom is spa-worthy with a spa bathtub, walk-in shower, and dual sinks. The first guest bedroom holds a Queen-size bed and TV. The remaining guest bedrooms are downstairs. The third guest bedroom has a King-size bed, Twin-size bed, and TV. The fourth guest bedroom has a Queen-size bed, a set of Twin bunk beds, and a TV. The last guest bedroom has a Queen-size sofa bed. These bedrooms share a guest bathroom with a shower/tub combo and dual sinks. This home will be stocked with a starter set of consumables such as soaps and paper products. Guests are advised to either bring or purchase additional after arrival. Prior to booking, please be sure to read through the Tahoe House Rules to ensure everyone has a great time. Parking is limited to 4 in the driveway with no street parking. Pets: we are open to hosting your furry friends. However, pets are subject to approval. Please inquire first. Include details about type of pet, weight, age and temperament. Pet fee is $150 per stay. Summer bookings June through August are 7 day blocks Sunday to Sunday. House is available for 7 night stay but check in dates are Sunday and check out dates Sunday. REFUND POLICY: If you wish to cancel outside of the cancellation window let us know and we will open the dates and attempt to rebook it and refund you when it books. COVID POLICY: Should the house be unavailable due to a government imposed shutdown, you would get a 100% refund. DAMAGE PROTECTION: There is a $59 fee included in your reservation that covers you up to $1500 in accidental damages. **We highly suggest purchasing Travel Insurance during the winter season when weather and road conditions can be unpredictable. Please check the Division of Traffic websites and travel at our own risk. Without the purchase of Travel Insurance, your Vacation Home Rental Reservation cannot be canceled due to poor weather conditions.** **Please note El Dorado County has three main rules for guests and all guests must abide by them when renting a vacation rental. 1) occupancy for a 5 bedroom house such as this is limited to 10 guests. No more than 10 guests can be in the house between 10pm-8am. 2) the jacuzzi cannot be used between 10pm-8am. 3) Quiet hours between 10pm-8am. This means no unreasonable noise between these hours. All of the Lake Tahoe area has adopted rules for vacation rentals to make sure they better conform to the neighborhoods they are in with full-time residents.
