Nearby to Lough Hyne and Union Hall for West Cork delicious Food, the Wild Atlantic Way, Pub/restaurant/shop in village, Access by car across a small field Read, write , bike & enjoy walks The space Amazing Waterfront coastal views, full of peace and quiet. Perfect for a couple or young family. Abd sitting in a field with side access across the garden from another of our holiday cottages! Our track leads into our field giving an open and neutral, a wild expanse and yet walking distance to Castletownshend (10 minutes) All beds have cotton bedlinen and towels We have 3 cottages available for holiday guests that link together with a track to Castlehaven beach below. There are coastal fields to walk through to the village (with our cattle) or simply walk along the road into the village Guest access The Cowshed is in the field and about 100mts through the field to the lane! Parking in the field next to the cottage or park on the hard track.and walk through our field. Even if it has rained the walk is only a couple of minutes to your car or the lane. For most of the year the access is perfect. The cottage is a few minutes drive into Castletownshend and 8km to Skibbereen, 30 minutes drive to Clonakilty or Baltimore. Wild Atlantic Way is on your door step. The Farmers Market on Saturdays in Skibbereen is full of local produce and humour Lots of wonderful restaurants with local seafood menus in all the seasons Simply enjoy the peace and quiet away from the hectic pace of life Other things to note The west coast of Ireland has surprisingly mild and changeable weather and for those who enjoy the countryside its has lots of beautiful places to see This cottage is next to 2 more of our cottages and above Castlehaven Strand/beach. Amazingly the other beaches nearby are quite different and offer shelter from the changing wind patterns. Loch Hine, DromBeg Stone Circle, Bantry House, Inchadonnay are a short drive Kenmare, Killarney and Barley Cove Beach are about 2 hours drive away
