Shore Cottage, by the sea, amazing views.

As close to the sea as you could get. Peaceful and private. No road in front. Spacious grounds with stream, bridge and trees. Just the two bedrooms (one double and one with 2 singles). Fantastic kitchen, dining, living room space with 6 windows for maximum sunlight and views and a wood burning stove. Situated at one end of the village within walking distance of pub, restaurants and shop. Perfect spot for watching sea eagles, otters, seals and sunsets. Magical and inspiring! The space What is offered at Shore Cottage is the opportunity to stop for a while, unwind and enjoy the beauty and magic of this location and the local area. The dining/living /kitchen space has extensive panoramic views encompassing the whole loch, the island and the village itself, and from the side windows a beautiful view of Beinn Shieldaig. Because of the south/south westerly facing aspect the house gets sunshine all day and amazing sunsets. It is an inspiring place whatever the weather. The local otter makes regular appearances in front of the cottage, as do seals, and it is a superb spot for watching the sea eagles which nest on the island. Because of the nutrients brought down by the stream it is also a popular spot for various diving birds and herons. Recently the pine martens have also been visiting. It is very therapeutic to stare out of the windows and become mesmerised by the changing light patterns on the water. There is also a tv! 🙂…with Netflix and Amazon Prime (no live tv) Guest access Guests have access to the grounds and the shore. Good for swimmers, kayakers and paddle boarders. There is decking and outside seating and it is possible to have fires and barbecues. Other things to note Please enquire if you would like to rent Shore Cottage outside the high season ie November to March and I might be able to give a discount. The longer the stay the bigger the discount.
