The space Originally an Alpine farmhouse, Chalet des Cimes was converted into delightful accommodation just 10 years ago. Located in the charming little hamlet of Montalbert, in the region of Sainte Foy Tarentaise in the French Alps. The chalet boasts absolutely stunning and uninterrupted views of the surrounding mountains and the valley below, that will keep you mesmerised for hours. Enter into the chalet through a large hallway complete with ample space to store all your gear, be it hiking boots or skis. Complete with drying room for ski boots. *Open Plan Living / Dining Room* An exceptionally large but homely living and dining room with exposed beams & traditional stone complete with a wood burning fire and uninterrupted views across the valley through triple aspect floor to ceiling windows. Large comfortable sofas placed around the wood burning stove, seperate TV area with flexible seating area and dining space to seat up to 12 people. Beside the dining area is breakfast bar open to the kitchen. There is underfloor heating throughout along with all the necessary mod cons like TV, DVD, Wifi, bluetooth speakers etc. There is also a chest full of board games. Baby equipment is available on request. *Mezzanine* Above the kitchen is a mezzanine level, complete with beanbags, cushions & a TV/DVD player perfect for getting comfy and watching a film. *Kitchen* Recently renovated the large fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to cater for your stay. A large open hatch/ breakfast bar opens onto the dining area ensuring even the chef can enjoy a social gathering whilst cooking. *Bedrooms* All the 5 bedrooms have an en-suite. The middle floor has 4 bedrooms (2 x double rooms and the other 2 rooms can be configured either as 1 x doubles or 2 x singles). The lower floor has a brand new kids bunk room (3 beautiful wooden bunk beds sleeping 6 in total). Beside it is a large family bathroom, walk in shower and a large separate bath tub. Guest access The entire chalet... lounge, dining, mezzanine/ snug, kitchen, bedrooms, laundry. Out door pizza oven, terrace and balcony w BBQ. Other things to note Regarding rates... Christmas, New Year & UK half term are minimum 7 nights booking. Rates vary from £3500 to £6500 p/w during the winter. Out of winter rates are £1250 p/w - usually a 7 night minimum booking required, please enquire if you would like a shorter stay during this period. We prefer operate with Sunday to Sunday bookings, this is a quieter day for travel.
