A nature sanctuary, the villa gains its inspiration from the traditional Javanese joglo architecture, incorporating natural tree trunk pillars and luxurious solid wood floors. The Master Bedroom stands apart from the two-storey open-air main house, as does the companion rustic French style kitchen. Moving down the embankment and toward the river, the property boasts a magnificent free-form pool complete with waterfalls, reflection pools, and an absolutely unique cliff-side dwelling in the form of a rustic cottage - the perfect get-away... Best of all, our home features a team of people who will tantalize your taste buds with epicurean delights from around the world. Our "house best" is our Indonesian meal! With the exception of the owner's office, the entire villa and grounds are made available to our guests, all cared for and attended by our full-time staff. Meals can be prepared to your liking and an on-call masseuse is on call for a nominal additional fee. Our staff is on call and on site to please and support you in anyway possible This home is located at the end of the village of Tankulat, at the end of the road and next to the river. The village creates a natural barrier from the outside world, but is just 10 minutes from downtown Ubud. At your request, we can arrange for a full-time or part-time driver to shuttle you and your family to anywhere you'd like to go on the island. For the love of Bali, we try very hard to be "off the grid" as much as possible. While each room has an air con, the rooms catch every possible daytime breeze and are all bathed in ambient sunlight. We use eco friendly soaps and cleaners and your food is almost 100% farm to table. We compost everything and recycle all trash.
