Our home has been converted from an old movie props warehouse in a Richmond laneway full of urban street art. Super comfortable and family-friendly with bright, spacious, air-conditioned open-plan living space. Convenient central location with Bridge Road shopping, Victoria Street restaurants, the MCG & sports precinct and Fitzroy Gardens all in within an easy walk. The CBD can reached via a scenic 25 minute walk through beautiful parkland, or a 5 min train ride from West Richmond station. The space As a converted warehouse, the house has high ceilings & polished concrete floors. The first floor is one big open-plan space with distinct living, dining and kitchen areas, as well as a kids' play area and study area. This level has floor-to-ceiling north facing glass sliding doors opening out onto a full-length balcony. The space is now air-conditioned for Melbourne's hot summers! A hidden projector and screen are available to lounge on the couch and watch TV or movies. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook meals, with an oversized vintage kitchen island bench which easily seats at least 6 people as a convenient breakfast bar. Next to this is a 10-seater dining table. The ground floor comprises two bedrooms and laundry. The master bedroom has a comfortable queen-sized bed. The second bedroom is a bright, fun kids' bedroom with a single loft bed and additional double bed. The kids' bedroom is full of books and toys your little one is welcome to use. A portacot is also available on request. The third bedroom is an open mezzanine bedroom with a queen sized bed. Please note, access to this room is via a steep staircase (ladder) so not advised for anyone with limited mobility. The large bathroom with full sized tub has a separate toilet. Guest access Guests can access the whole house, except for the locked garage and storage area. A parking permit for unlimited street parking is offered on request. Other things to note Please note that this is our family home so it contains personal items. Please feel free to use food from the cupboard within reason, and consider replacing any items you finish. Please note there is an external security camera at the front of the property.
