Description
Welcome to The Tusssocks Riverstone Cottage situated in the Awatere Valley, Marlborough. Our beautiful cottage sleeps two (queen bed). Separate bathroom & kitchenette situated 20 meters from the Cottage. Come stay and enjoy our little patch of paradise. The views of the valley and Mount Tapuae-o-Uenuku are beautiful. The space The Riverstone Cottage is a single room with a queen bed (all linen provided), fire place, TV (Freeview & Netflix) and sitting area. 20 meters from the Cottage (attached to the main garage) is a kitchenette (with laundry facilities) and bathroom. The kitchenette includes fridge, kettle, toaster, hot plates, bench top oven & microwave. Breakfast is not provided but if our chickens have excess eggs we’ll leave some for you. The bathroom includes shower, basin and toilet. Hair dryer, soap, shampoo & conditioner and towels provided. If you have any questions our house is just next to the Cottage, we are happy to help. Otherwise we will leave you to enjoy the peace and quiet. If you would like an earlier check in than 2pm please ask as this may be possible upon request. Check out is no later than 11am. Also provided: Tea, Peppermint Tea, Instant Coffee, Plunger Coffee, Milo, Sugar, Salt & Pepper, Olive Oil, Milk, Laundry Powder, Soap, Shampoo & Conditioner. Guest access Our property is 10 acres split into 5 paddocks with Cows, Wiltshire Sheep & Chickens. You are welcome to share our gardens/yard, but please stay out of the paddocks. Walking/Mountain Bike tracks 5 min walk up the road. Seddon is the nearest township (20 min drive) if you need supplies. Or Blenheim town is 30 min drive. Molesworth Cob Cottage (biggest farm in NZ) is 83km further up the valley. Other things to note Please do not enter the neighbours properties.
