Cozy & Chic Guest Suite

Private one bedroom apt/guest suite in owner occupied single family home. We are centrally located, 2 miles/a short 5 minute drive to downtown. Quiet neighborhood, just a few blocks away from the Olympic Training Center and UCHealth Memorial Hospital. Easy access to both I-25 (for trips heading north & south to Denver or Pueblo) & Hwy 24 (for east/west adventures like skiing, mountain biking and hiking.) Close to Colorado College, Patty Jewett Golf course, Garden of the Gods, Air Force Academy. The space We've slowly been renovating our house and have DIY'ed all of the upgrades to the airbnb guest suite apartment. It's not perfect, new or modern but it's truly unique, charming and cozy. There is art and unique touches on nearly every wall of the apartment. The apartment has a living room with a sofa bed, a small/basic kitchenette, a spacious bathroom and a large bedroom. The bedroom has one queen size bed (Casper mattress!). It also features a small private backyard space with a propane grill, bistro patio set, hammock and chiminea. Guest access We generally are available to greet you upon your arrival but you can always self check-in as well. Once the apartment is clean and ready for you, we will send you the lockbox code via text day of so you can self-check in. (A new code is generated after every stay.) The private entrance is through the wood fence door on the right side of the house. Other things to note Details that may impact your stay: 1) We are dog friendly but will request an additional $20-$30 pet fee/per pet depending on breed/size. Well behaved dogs are allowed to be left unattended as long as they are crated and do not bark incessantly while you are out. 2) Our airbnb guest suite apt is attached to our personal home. Our home is a multi-level home and the airbnb casita apt is on the ground level and we live upstairs. It’s basically a private mother-in-law suite/small apartment where you have your own small kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, living room, entrance etc. and though you may hear us or our dogs, we won’t cross paths unless you need something. We do provide a white noise machine. 3) The kitchenette does not have a microwave, unfortunately. Our electrician advised against it since it would be too much on our electric panel. However, the kitchenette does has a four range electric stove. 4) Though the bathroom is large, the shower is on the small side and a little awkwardly shaped.
