An inquiry leaves enough time to ask and answer questions before confirming a stay. In the autumn and winter I take bookings for the four-month academic term (or longer) - Sept-Dec and Jan-Apr. For a multi-month stay, you can arrive part way into the month and depart a few days before the end of the final month if that fits your schedule. The house has 3 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. I use one bedroom, and the two other bedrooms are available to guests. This spacious room is on the second floor and spans 15 ft. (5 m) across the front of the house. It includes a modern retro-style ensuite bathroom (tiled shower, sink, toilet). This room has a private balcony facing south west. With its half-wall slanted ceiling at each end, its two bright windows, hardwood floor, and interesting poster art, this attractive room has charm and comfort, and features a queen-sized bed, loveseat, dresser, open closet & storage area, and work/study area. Singles only. All guests must be proficient in English and must have substantial experience living and cooking independently in the West. If you are between apartments, I'm sorry but you cannot store your household possessions and boxes either in the room or the basement. Please come only with what you need - clothes and your devices. I provide everything else. I have a no-overnight guest policy. However, you are welcome to invite a friend over for day/evening socializing occasionally. My rooms are very popular. PARKING INFO: If you must bring a car you should expect to take away your vehicle during the day when parking is time restricted. Street parking is free but overnight spaces are few. You don't need a car in this neighbourhood. You can get everything you need on foot and there are three bus routes nearby. There is a lockable bike shed and bike paths in all directions. During your stay I've been renting rooms for 20 years so I am an experienced landlord. I have also travelled widely (South-East Asia, India, Japan) and have stayed in dozens of guesthouses, so I've learned what makes a room convenient and comfortable. I'm also a designer, so I think you will find the room has distinctive decor. I am outgoing and friendly and love people.
