Marama Cottage @ Two Moons Farm

Welcome to Marama Cottage on Two Moons Farm! We are currently working on turning our lifestyle block into a productive small scale organic farm. We can’t wait to share our little slice of paradise! Meet our animals, enjoy our gardens and all that Christchurch and the surrounding area has to offer. We are centrally located just 15 mins from the CBD but our place feels a world away and is a great retreat! Cozy up to an outdoor fire after a day of skiing or fishing or tramping or sightseeing! The space Marama (Te Reo for “moon”) cottage is a private house on our beautiful property. Enjoy exploring our gardens, meeting our animals, or just relaxing in a quiet, peaceful space. There is a full kitchen with essentials for cooking (oil, salt and pepper, etc) and we are happy to provide you with anything extra—Just ask! We are located near some epic walks and amazing scenery, with lots of ideas on where to eat and what to do. There are two bedrooms, one with a super king bed, the other has twin bunks and a double bed. Both have closets with hangers. There is a nice big bathroom with a bathtub and a separate shower. There is also a washer/dryer just for you! We have furniture outside for relaxing and enjoying the farm. There is free wifi and freeview tv and we have special things just for kids! If you are interested in getting to know us as hosts, we’d be happy to chat, or leave you to your own devices. We adhere to the new cleaning guidelines set out by Airbnb and supply guests with all the cleaning supplies they need to ensure a clean, safe stay. Guest access We have beautiful gardens that guests are welcome to explore. Since these are on our private part of the farm, we ask that you let us know before just heading off to them. We will take you to meet the animals and are happy to show you around. There is lots of quiet space to relax and enjoy the birdsong! Other things to note We are located about 15 minutes from the CBD, and from the airport. We recommend having a car, as Uber will not pick up from the house. The WiFi and cell reception can be spotty especially from 5-8pm.
