Overflowing with rustic charm, our space offers a cozy and relaxing break just 20 mintes from Pretoria at the end of a 9km dirt road. This is the ideal spot for nature lovers to enjoy hiking or horse riding in the game farm. Wedding venues like Rosemary Hill, Campagne Living, Greenhouse Cafe and several other are a couple of minutes drive away. From the patio, guests can enjoy breathtaking sunsets, with horses, zebras impala and springbok grazing nearby. The space The Old Farm House is perfect for guests who enjoy breathtaking sunsets, good wine by the fire and zebras grazing nearby. Relax in the spa-bath. Enjoy early morning coffee while feeding animals from the treehouse. Take a short hike to picnic by the dam. Guest access Both bedrooms are en-suite with the Flower Suite boasting a spa bath for relaxing bubble baths. The open plan lounge and kitchenette areas have comfortable seating for relaxing or watching TV as well as a breakfast nook with views on the game farm. Guests have use of the pool, sun heated hot tub, barbecue facilities, “treehouse” for game viewing and sundowners. Laundry service can be arranged with hosts. A 500m walk takes guests to a dam where an astonishing 50+ bird species have been recorded and the unmissable call of a fish eagle can sometimes be heard. Other things to note The closest restaurants and supermarkets are 20 minutes away. If you want to relax and not do too much driving around it is best to bring enough supplies. The unit provides rusks, coffee and tea. All other meals need to be provided by guests. We offer, at an additional charge, warm breakfasts, lunch, picnic baskets and dinner. We do have friendly dogs that roam freely around the property.
