Beach Staycation Executive Luxury Flat, 180° panoramic view of the glistening Indian Ocean and Colombo coastline. The flat is 15 -20 mins to downtown Colombo and a 2 minute walk to the beach over the train tracks. The apartment building offers access a rooftop pool & 24/7 security. Our two-bedroom, three beds - suited to Family with up to 3 children, Master-King Bed & En-suite, Bed 2- Queen and loft single bed. Guest bathroom. Your Host is A Superhost. Not suited for very young children. The space Kitchen is fully kitted including all tabkeware & pans and ample cutlery. Salt, Sugar, Tea is provided. There is ample storage space for clothes and accessories and all beds are designed to store full-sized suitcases underneath to ensure a seamless home-away-from-home experience (we don't believe in living out of a suitcase while traveling). Furniture is hand-crafted raw Teak done by a local carpenter. (please help us to maintain his beautiful craftsmanship by using the coasters provided!). Some essentials provided upon arrival, including, water, initial toilet paper, soap, shampoo, Home and Beach towels. "WOW it is better than the pictures" - is the message I get all the time. Being in Asia you may find the occasional insects, they are attracted to food left out, it's essential to seal or refrigerate all food & empty bins. Dust will come in once doors are opened. Beach parties & music takes place from time to time. legal curfew is midnight but the bars can run loud music later than this. Guest access Travel by Tuk Tuk or Taxi, we recommend Pick Me, Uber Tuk Tuk or Uber Taxi, Taxi, Kangaroo Taxi. We have a trusted airport taxi we always use, we can refer him to you. Tuk Tuk's are no longer a safe option a night - please use Taxis. Beach is a 2 min walk away. Free Parking in the Building which has 24 hour security. Other things to note This is a luxury 2 bedroom flat. You will have the entire space. Self Catering. Electricity - There is a global energy crisis, please switch off all aircons, and lights when you go out or are not using a particular room - I have an energy cap of 20,000 LKR per month which is very generous. Renovations and upgrades are carried out annually. We suggest you bring your favorite food items and condiments and especially alcohol which is expensive in country, good selection on arrival at the airport. We ourselves bring cheeses, cold meats, snacks, our fave ground coffee and some dried foods and washing pods. Security is 24 - 7 and they are strict, passports are required to be handed to Security before you arrive. Tips appreciated by all the building staff.
