In the heart of Cinque Terre, in the charming village of Riomaggiore, few steps from the train station and a few meters from the beach and also bars and shops area, located on the second floor of a historic building on the main road, the facility Ciao Bella Divas is a tribute to Italian beauty with elegant double rooms named after the most popular Italian cinema divas. It is located on the second floor of an ancient building on the main road of Riomaggiore and this makes it easy, comfortable and quick to reach on foot, due to the very few steps you need to climb even though we are in Cinque Terre in an ancient village of 1200 built between uphill alleys. The renovation has enhanced classic and antique elements, (the beams on the ceiling and the original stones on the wall, mixed in a modern and unique style. Monica has a beautiful view on the main street of the village. The private external bathroom (opposite the room along the corridor) is very nice, elegant with shower. Among the room amenities you will find: wi-fi, hairdryer, kettle (no tv and no ac, replaced by an excellent ceiling fan). In the common area you will find a coffee machine, a microwave and the iron. Shower gel and toilet paper are the only consumable products provided (especially you will not find any kitchen products such as oil, salt, etc.). You will find hairdryer, towels and linen. The change of towels and the collection of rubbish will be done on the fourth day of the stay, while the replacement of the sheets will be done only on request and for a fee. Please note that there are no lift and that from the road to the room there are about 30 steps to climb, not too many and not too tiring compared to other accommodation facilities in the Cinque Terre. However, it must be considered in case of mobility problems The accommodation does not have private parking. Pets are not allowed. The rate does not include breakfast. Guest access PAY ATTENTION TO STEPS Riomaggiore is a very small village closed to traffic and all the movements are very fast on foot (maximum 5 minutes from one place to another). The station is inside the village so it is not necessary to take other transport (bus or taxi). You might know that there are many steps to get to the beach or the castle or to wander through the labyrinth of alleys that make up the historic center. This is something you should consider if you visit Cinque Terre, specially in case of health problems or disabilitity. PAY ATTENTION TO PARKING Arriving to Riomaggiore by car is not recommended. Please consider that Riomaggiore is a very small village closed to the traffic. Only (very few) paid parking lots are located at the entrance of the village. Their price is 35 euros a day and you can not book them in advance. We suggest you to leave your car in La Spezia from where you will arrive to Riomaggiore in only 10 minutes by train. Parking in La Spezia also means avoiding long queues on the coastal road, especially in high season. Other things to note The conformation of Cinque Terre has remained unchanged over time and this is the characteristic that makes these small villages, magically built between the sea and the mountains, wonderful. If you have chosen this tourist destination, you must be prepared that it is a historic and delicate place. The wi-fi may temporarily not work, it will not always be possible to have a quick resolution to technical problems and failures and above all there will always be many steps to climb and no lifts. For this reason:. • be aware that you are arriving to a destination that does not have the amenities you may be used to • travel with light luggage (preferably a backpack) • bring closed shoes to be able to walk the trails • be respectful of water and electricity resources, always turn off lights and electrical appliances • relax and think if even something might not go perfectly, you are in one of the most beautiful places in the world! Going directly to the accommodation without going through the reception can cause delays which cannot be grounds for complaints.
