The Calf Shed - On A Real Working Farm, AONB, Kent

Breakfast is included! Chilton Farmyard B&B offers an unusual farm stay in Kent, where, if you like, you can meet the calves, cows and ponies. Situated in the peaceful Alkham Valley ( AONB) between Dover and Canterbury, our B&B will cater for anything from family walking holidays to romantic getaways. With a multitude of footpaths, we have the ideal location for a dog-friendly break. Parks, pubs and tea rooms can be included on rambling routes, with many lovely beaches nearby. The space The Calf Shed is one of 3 self contained accommodation units that sleeps 4 guests featuring a double bed with quality bed linen, a bunk bed and a spacious en suite shower bathroom. There are plenty of lighting, sockets and storage as well as heating , wi-if and tv, there are also a few games in one of the drawers. Breakfast is located in the Albion Room across the yard where we offer a delicious range of breakfasts made using Kentish fayre where possible. There is also provision for a cot if needed and your dog is welcome. Guest access The Calf Shed is your own to come & go using your key & the breakfast room is available as a communion room during daytimes. The farmyard garden is for all guests to enjoy. Permission should be asked if guests want to be shown round on the commercial farm where the critically rare breed of Albion cattle are kept. We have various cows and calves and a couple of ponies and we are only too happy to introduce you to the animals. Other things to note It is possible to book all three units for your own family or friend reunion; possibly sleeping up to 12 people plus a baby and even the dog! In normal times, the Albion room can be used as a communal room, maybe for a takeaway meal or indoor picnic. We live on a network of footpaths & bridleways in a valley of outstanding natural beauty, providing some excellent walks starting at your door! Our B&B is a handy distance to many beaches.
