Curl up in front of the fire in our self-catering hut located next to our quiet, private farm lane. Enjoy panoramic views over the valley. Relax in the hammock on the veranda, snuggle up on the sofa in front of the fire, cosy up in bed under the feather duvet lit with fairy lights. Private hot tub available for hire for an additional £42. Book farm tours with hot buttered toast and dippy eggs, goat hang out experiences, bee keeping experiences or venture off on one of the many local trails. The space FEATURES: -Comfy double bed with bedding and blankets -Romantic lighting -Wood burner and firewood for 2 evenings (more wood available to buy from the farm). -Electric heater for instant cosiness -Spring water Urn. -Squishy 2-seater sofa. -Mini kitchen inc. toaster, microwave, kettle, pot, pan, cutlery, crockery -Table and chairs. - Towels, flannels and body wash (there's no shower, but fresh spring water to freshen up is provided) -Removable hammock to relax and watch the world go by -Blankets for snuggling under outside/taking on picnics with you -Cool box with freshly frozen ice packs available daily THE HUT DOES NOT HAVE: -No running water in the hut. There is a WC and sink nearby for your private use. -No showers. Instead, Instead, we have a hot flannel wash kit and fluffy towels. - No TV or WIFI There’s great 4G signal though if you want to stream a movie on your phone/tablet. There are plug sockets. CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT: Check-in is any time from 3pm onwards. We have a key safe so you can arrive whatever time suits you. Check-out until 10am. Late check-out possible until 12pm for £15 subject to availability. Message with your request and, if it's possible, we'll send across a payment link once the booking is made. THINGS TO DO AT THE FARM: All bookable via the website (Search ‘Cronkshaw Fold Farm’). We're a working farm that is not open to the public. It is not safe or permitted to wander about without a guide - we don't want to squish you with a tractor! We love showing visitors around so if you would like to see more of the farm you can book a farm experience via our website. Choose between: -Farm Experience Morning/Evening: Join our experienced farm staff for our morning or evening daily farm duties. Join in with feeding the animals their breakfast/supper, collecting eggs, checking the sheep, haying up the goats and whatever other seasonal duties are in the farm diary for that day. 1-hour 30-minutes. £49 for up to 6 attendees. With an option to add an organic, locally produced farm breakfast/supper if you choose. - Goat Yoga: A 90-minute Goats and Yoga bit of nuttiness. Do yoga. But in a goat pen. £25 per person. Last Saturday of each month. We are a simple rural escape for folks wanting to get away from it all and live uninterrupted, enjoy your own/each other’s company and take in some beautiful English countryside. *Don't forget to bring your welly boots!* CHECK IN: Check in is any time from 3pm onwards. Guests who will be arriving at the farm in the dark/ in winter who aren't keen on navigating in low light should bring a torch to find your way to the hut as the path to it is unlit. This is because we have an abundance of rare wildlife on the farm including bats and owls (which you will likely see) which need the dark to be best able to hunt for their dinner. Guest access The Old Farm Office is exclusively yours for the duration of your booking. You will also have a private WC and sink for your sole use.
