Idi's Stadel - traditional with modern expansion

This Valais barn was built several hundred years ago and served the village and its families as a granary in winter. It traditionally stands on the 9 stones so that the mice could not climb up to the grain. The barn was newly expanded in 2018 and has since been used by us privately and also by guests as a vacation home. The space Our traditional Stadel Idi offers about 100 m² of space ideally for 2 adults or families with 1-2 children. The abundance of wood, the natural materials and the modern but simple furnishings convey coziness. The large windows allow plenty of light into the living spaces. It should be noted that the barn is narrow for 4 adults, or the two extra beds are better suited for children (80 × 190 cm). The bedroom can be divided into two rooms with a sliding door, whereby the space above the sliding door is open: you can see the light and hear the sounds. Guest access Parking is available in front of the barn. Attention: The access is VERY narrow and there is no way to turn the car. This means that the return trip is only possible in reverse. So, only for experienced drivers. However, there are plenty of public parking spaces in the area (for a fee). The whole barn with forecourt is at your disposal. In Pauli, our wood and equipment shed, you will find everything you need to sit outside, make a fire and barbecue. Other things to note A highlight is certainly the large Aletsch Glacier. Whether comfortably by cable car to the Eggishorn or on foot, in winter with skis, or from the air with a paraglider, you should not miss this natural spectacle. Fiesch is a great starting point for mountaineers, hikers, climbers, bikers, skiers, winter hikers, cross-country ski enthusiasts.... In the evening, don't miss the fireplace and a fine Valais wine.
