Ricefields, Rivers and Mountains

This house is a beautiful blend of traditional and modern making it convenient but also authentically Japanese. Mountains and ricefields are beside you, the Shimanto River can be heard. The ground floor is all yours. It's spacious with a large tatami sleeping room that can become two. The A/C is only in one room if the doors are closed. There is no central heating. Restaurants are within 10min or you can prepare local foods in your own equipped kitchen. It’s designed for long and short stays. The space The ground floor has four tatami rooms. Two are used for sleeping if more than 2 guests. If there are more than six guests in your group or if you want to use an extra room (maybe you want to banish the snorer to another space), this can also be arranged though there are some drawbacks with this. Usually I wait for guests to arrive so I can welcome them and answer any questions. The kitchen has two gas burners, a rice cooker, a small toaster and a microwave. There is a large fridge also. I encourage a more sustainable style of travel. Recycling is encouraged and I have a ‘bokashi bin’ for all food scraps. I also provide a water filter so less plastic bottles need to be used. There is no TV. I’m currently on a ‘permaculture’ journey. No poisons are used in the garden so please don’t judge me if it looks a little unkept at times.
