The property sports a natural spring (seasonal) with loads of bird and animal life to keep you enchanted for a truly relaxed getaway or stopover. The space Mizpah Lodge is set on a spacious 2-hectare property with established trees, open lawns, and a peaceful wetland area that attracts birdlife throughout the day. The grounds offer a sense of space and calm that feels removed from the city, making it easy to slow down and unwind. The main building on the property is historic, with parts of its foundation dating back to 1859, adding character and a quiet sense of story to your stay. Shaded stoep areas and garden spaces invite guests to sit, read, or enjoy a morning coffee outdoors. While the setting feels tranquil and slightly out of town, the lodge is conveniently located in northern Bloemfontein, close to the Botanical Gardens and nearby shopping centres. Guest access You have full private access to your Chalet, as well as shared access to the outer garden and outdoor areas on the property. The grounds are spacious and peaceful, with lawns, trees, and shaded stoep areas where guests are welcome to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The property also includes a restaurant, bakery, and whole-foods shop on site. These operate during set trading hours and are available to guests when open. (Tuesdays to Fridays 8am - 3pm; Sundays 9am - 3pm) For privacy and safety, access is limited to guest areas only. Certain sections of the property are reserved for staff, events, or private use. Other things to note We have a generator to run all essential appliances and lights, as well as WiFi during loadshedding for your convenience. The breakfast that is included is cereal and yogurt that is provided in the room.
