The Back Beach Classic

Only two houses between us and the ocean beach, our cosy family shack of over thirty years is now available for others to enjoy. Described by visitors as having a genuine holiday feel - an ideal place to truly feel 'away from it all', but still with all the Mornington Peninsula advantages on its doorstep. Spend days enjoying the secluded ocean beach, just a short walk away up and over the dunes. Kick back, switch off and unwind as you listen to the waves and birdsong in this tranquil setting. The space KITCHEN, fully equipped with dinnerware, glasses, pots and pans, coffee maker, pasta maker, food processor, for those who love cooking as much as we do. There are basic pantry staples such as tea, coffee, flour, sugar, oil, sauce, dried herbs & spices, salt & pepper. - Dishwasher -Dual fuel cooker - Fridge in the kitchen and a second larger fridge in the LAUNDRY which you can turn on if extra fridge space is needed. Also in the Laundry: washing machine (but no dryer), clothes horse, fans, torches for nighttime adventures, globes, candles etc. Comfortable family LIVING AREA complete with wood fire heater, split-system heating / air conditioning, TV, DVD player, record player, Hi-fi / Bluetooth, board games, cards, books, magazines. We also provide kindling and your first tub of firewood. Open DINING area between kitchen and living seats up to 8 people. There are three small BEDROOMS with fresh linen provided, books and storage for clothes and personal items and a few toys in the children's room. The BATHROOM has a shower (over a small hip bath but no full sized bath), electric wall heater. Bath towels will be provided in addition to shampoo & conditioner, body wash, basic first aid essentials and hair dryer. Please bring your own beach towels. - Two separate toilets OUTDOOR space with expansive decking nestled amongst the tea trees, sheltered from the ocean wind makes this a very inviting area to relax. - Hooded gas barbecue, undercover (if used, please clean before departure) - Outdoor dining setting for six - Deck chairs and large sun umbrella - Sandpit - Single carport with additional driveway parking in front GUEST ACCESS whole property apart from main section of shed. Self check-in using a lock box. Details will be provided the day before arrival.
