The space Nestled in the picturesque village of Crai, Trefaen Cottage offers a peaceful escape on a working family farm. Perfect for couples seeking a tranquil getaway, this beautifully renovated cottage blends traditional charm with modern comforts. Originally an old workman’s cottage, Trefaen has been transformed into a high-standard retreat, featuring elegant oak furnishings, exposed beams, and underfloor heating throughout. The cottage comfortably accommodates up to three guests, with a spacious master bedroom and a cosy single room. The handcrafted kitchen is fully equipped with a gorgeous Belfast sink, electric cooker with a ceramic hob, microwave, slimline dishwasher, washing machine, and a large fridge/freezer—perfect for preparing home-cooked meals. The inviting living area boasts a three seater reclining sofa and chair, a dining table for four, and a Smart TV, creating the perfect space to relax after a day of exploring. Upstairs, the master bedroom offers a generous retreat with a beautiful oak king-sized bed, oak dressing table, wardrobe, Freeview TV, and a charming freestanding roll-top bath for a touch of luxury. The second bedroom features a rustic oak chest of drawers and a cosy single bed. The contemporary upstairs bathroom includes a shower, toilet, and hand basin. Step outside and immerse yourself in the charm of farm life, with stunning countryside views and a peaceful garden area—ideal for unwinding with a glass of wine as the sun sets. Two small, well-behaved dogs are also welcome to join you on your stay. Trefaen Cottage is part of a charming terrace, adjoining Llysfaen Cottage and the larger Oak Barn next door. A highchair and cot are available for guest use (please bring your own cot blankets).
