Neil's Worden Barn is a converted grain barn located on a quiet country lane in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Walking distance of large village with great amenities including 16 century coaching inn serving good food and traditional ales. 15 mins by car to the beautiful North Cornish and North Devon coastlines and only 5 mins from the Tamar Lakes, known for fishing competitions. Bude with its famous surfing beaches is 20 min away by car. Ample opportunities in for walking and cycling. The space The accommodation has been fashioned from a quirky stone built grain barn that predates the farmhouse. There are two bedrooms, one with a king-sized bed, the other with bunk beds. All the beds are super comfortable. There is a sofa bed in the lounge which can accommodate an extra person. The kitchen is well equipped and has a dishwasher and washing machine. In the garden there is a retractable washing line. The downstairs areas are surprisingly spacious with room in the lounge for a separate dining area. Large hallway. Slate floors downstairs mean the barn is cool in summer, but central heating and a log burner ensure it is cosy and warm if the weather is cooler. The downstairs bathroom has a full size bath with a good shower. Outside is a small, securely fenced garden with patio area and furniture to seat 4. Our own fields are open to visitors to access for dog exercising or just to enjoy the great views of Dartmoor and Bodmin moors in the distance. Guest access The entire building is for guests’ sole use. There is open access to the yard area with ample parking available. Guests can access some of the farm’s fields for recreational purposes. There are no longer animals on the farm. Other things to note There is an IKEA high chair stored in the cupboard above the hanging wardrobe in the smaller bedroom.
