The space *For best prices look at Pine Lodge on coastal cottages site* Pine Lodge is a detached, split level house. There is a steep driveway for parking (about 3 cars). From the driveway a short path leads to the steps up to front door of the house. (approx 11 or 12 steps). You enter the hallway (slate floor), coat hooks behind the door. Turn left into the sitting room/lounge, with large sliding doors opening out onto a deep balcony overlooking the valley (Pleasant Valley). The sitting room has a TV, Sky (basic package), DVD player. There is a lovely cream wood burning stove which is a joy when the fire is going on a cold day. There are some books and games for guests to use. This room has sliding doors into the second dining area, with a solid farmhouse kitchen style table and 6 chairs (great for children's breakfasts and suppers). This is partially open to the kitchen which has a classic cream fitted kitchen, hob, double oven, cupboards for storage, Crockery, glasses, cookware, utensils, cutlery etc. There is a microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. A door opens from the kitchen area to the rear of the house and another door takes you back into the hallway. From the second dining room you walk through another opening to the conservatory dining room. This has a family dining table for 12. The payphone is in here and there is a large cut out area with serving bar from the kitchen. There are also French doors outside (for those hot days). From the entrance hallway a right turn and 3 steps take you towards the upstairs bedrooms. There is a double bedroom, twin bedroom and triple room which has a single bed and a set of bunk beds. There is a also a family bath room here, a large room with sunken bath, shower cubicle, wash basin and wc. Downstairs, there is another double bedroom with ensuite shower room with wash basin and wc and another family room with a double bed and a single bed - this has an ensuite shower room too with a wash basin and wc. At the bottom of the stairs a left turn takes you into the utility room with washing machine, tumble drier and sink. Through this room leads to the garage that has been converted into a games/play room - there are some old sofas, a table tennis table, a table and chairs for colouring/drawing and other games. There are sliding doors from here to the driveway outside. The grounds are sloping and consist of a few different grassy areas, care is needed with childen/those who are less confident on their feet as there are slopes and drops and the exterior is not enclosed in any way, so pets must be supervised. From the house you can walk across the road (turning left) then taking the footpath across the road on the right (about 10 yds from the house) follow this path through the woods and caravan park to arrive at Wiseman's Bridge Beach (cross the road here) there is a great pub on the beach here called the Wiseman's Bridge Inn, popular for pub food and Sunday lunches. This beach has a tarmac path that starts at the west end and can be followed all the way to Coppet Hall beach and Coast Restaurant and then beyond to Saundersfoot beach, harbour and village with it's shops, pubs and restaurants. Guest access Apart from a couple of locked cupboards we use for storage the whole house is dedicated to guests. Other things to note Please let me know if you have any specific plans I can help with, this is the best way to make sure that there is nothing that may not suit your plans.
