A wonderful corner at the Retiro Park

A bright and quiet corner just a few steps from Madrid's Central Park "El Retiro" (the city's lung). Also known as the "gastronomic mile", this area is famous for its delightful restaurants and traditional taverns; a meeting point for locals. Our place is sunny and super clean, has two bedrooms, a bathroom with a large shower, a cozy living room and a new, fully equipped kitchen... that's all you need! Enjoy the calm and tranquiliy within vibrant Madrid and... Bon Appetite! The space There's an elevator in the building. Wifi Code is placed on a note on the entrance. Kitchen is well equipped with ceramic hob, microwave, oven, coffee maker (including a few coffee caps) and toaster. There is also a dishwasher, a washing machine and a dryer. The main room has one double bed (1,60 x 2,00m / 63 x 79in) –viscoelastic mattress–, armchair and an open closet. The second room has a queen size bed (1,40 x 2,00m / 55 x 79in) –viscoelastic mattress–and an open closet. Living room is furnished with storage space, shelves, table for 6 people and a chaise longue sofa that can also be converted into a double bed (1,40 x 2,00m / 55 x 79in). There is central air conditioning and heating system. Bathroom with large shower, iron and hair dryer. Waste Disposal: Trash can be taken out daily at 8:30pm in the orange container at the building's front door. Organic trash can also be taken daily, but in the brown container. Plastic and metal containers can be taken out on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays in the yellow container at the building's front door. Glass, cardboard and paper can be taken to the gray large deposits that are located one block from the apartment (closest is at the crossing with O'Donell); this type of trash can be taken out at any time. Finally, batteries could be taken to the supermarket for safe disposal. We really appreciate your support in keeping it as green as possible. Guest access The apartment is all yours. Other things to note COMING FROM THE AIRPORT: * A Taxi charges 30 euros and takes up to 4 people. * Coming by Metro (5 euros per person). Take Line 8 from any Airport Terminal (direction: Nuevos Ministerios) and change at Colombia station towards Line 9 (direction: Puerta de Arganda). Get down at Ibiza station and walk 2 blocks towards Lope de Rueda street. * Coming by Shuttle (5 euros per person): Take the "Express Aeropuerto", Madrid's 24h Airport Shuttle Bus (yellow color) departing from every terminal every 15-20 minutes during the day and every 35-40 minutes during the night. Get down at the stop called "O'donell /Doctor Esquerdo", and walk 5-10 minutes to our place. * Car Park: There is a public car park just around the corner at Calle Doctor Castello 10, the daily rate is 21 Euros. * The Wizink Center is just a few blocks from our apartment.
