Many cafes and restaurants are in close proximity to the dwelling, shopping possibilities at the Nordstraße just around the corner. You'll find the next subway station about 30 meters from our apartment. The subway "U78" goes directly to the Trade Fair (12 minutes) and runs every ten minutes. The room(16gm) is normally equipped for one person only with an extra large single bed of 100x220 cm with new pocket spring mattresses and an armchair. However, it can be booked for two people for an extra charge. In this case, an additional bed of 90x200 cm will be placed. Of course, the bed is freshly made, as well as clean towels and hairdryer and soap in the bathroom. Satellite TV on a Samsung flatscreen TV and an hotel refrigerator and kettle are also part of the equipment as well as free WLAN. For your savety we have installed a smoke detector and a CO detector. During the hot days in summer we put a tower fan in the room. Note: The apartment is on the 6th Floor without a lift! We do not have a kittchen! Other things to note Since 01.01.2024, the city of Düsseldorf has levied an accommodation tax of €3 per guest per night. The tax is levied on the provision of accommodation services in return for payment. The obligation to pay the tax lies with the guest, while the accommodation provider is obliged to pay the tax received from the guest. This means that the accommodation provider must collect the tax from the guest and pay it to the City of Düsseldorf as part of a tax declaration. It is irrelevant whether the accommodation is for tourism or business purposes and it applies to all forms of accommodation, regardless of whether they are hotels, hostels or private accommodation.
