La Casa del Pittore - "the painter's house"

My accommodation is in the heart of the historic center, a few steps from the most important cultural destinations of the city, close to typical restaurants, trattorias and pizzerias among the most famous in the world, family activities, public transport and nightlife. My apartment is suitable for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers and families (with children). The space The Painter's house is a charming apartment recently renovated in the heart of the historic center of Naples, a few steps from the main points of interest of the Neapolitan artistic and cultural heritage. In this apartment he spent his childhood the artist Fabrizio Scala, who in his youth transformed the family home into his studio-atelier, source of inspiration for his first creations. The house is located in a period building, equipped with an elevator not far from Piazza Bellini, a focal point and gateway to ancient Naples, from which branch off the historic and now very famous streets, such as Via S. Sebastiano (the street of musical instruments), Via S. Pietro a Majella (where the renowned Conservatory is located), which in turn, lead to Via Tribunali (on foot 7 minutes), Via S. Biagio dei Librai , San Gregorio Armeno (on foot 13 minutes) and the historic squares of Gesù Nuovo and San Domenico Maggiore (on foot 5 minutes). The apartment of about 60 square meters with loft has high vaulted ceilings of about 5 meters, and overlooks a quiet private terrace for the exclusive use of guests. The entrance from the living area with a kitchen equipped with everything you need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. On the comfortable sofa in the center of the living room you can organize your days, sipping a typical Neapolitan coffee or relax in the evening watching the TV under the stairs that lead to the mezzanine. On the ground floor there is also a small room with double bed. Once upstairs you will find a large double room with a king size bed and a sofa, a chest of drawers and a coat rack at your disposal, as well as a comfortable and spacious colorful bathroom equipped with a bathtub, to end your days in complete relaxation. The apartment is equipped with wi-fi connection, a full HD TV, independent heating system, linen, hairdryer, washing machine and iron and ironing board on request. It is an excellent solution for a couple and a family with children because it has 2 to 5 beds (there is the possibility in addition to the two double beds, to add a small bed on the mezzanine). Those who choose the painter's house will enjoy a quiet environment (despite being in the swarming heart of the old town), the possibility of having breakfast outside on the terrace and the attention of Fabrizio and Giorgia who will always be available, even by telephone, for any advice or information to best visit the city and discover its most intimate secrets. You will be a few steps from the oldest area of Naples where you will find the National Archaeological Museum, the San Severo Chapel, the Catacombs of San Gennaro, underground Naples, the Cathedral of Naples and the treasure of San Gennaro the complex of Santa Chiara and the renowned Bellini, San Carlo, and Mercadante theaters. Being in a strategic point of the city from home you can walk to Via Toledo and go to Piazza del Plebiscito (on foot 30 minutes) and overlook the most beautiful promenade in the world. A few minutes from the front door is the Museum stop of metro line 1. The “Painter Home” is a nice apartment recently renewed in the historical heart of Naples, few steps from the main interesting spots of the city cultural heritage. In this apartment, the artist Fabrizio Scala has spent his childhood, transforming, during youth, the family home in his own personal studio, inspirational setting for his first creations. The house his located in an historical building, very short distance from Bellini square, access point, to the historical and known streets, such as S. Sebastiano (so-called “musical instruments street”), S. Pietro a Majella (where you can find the Musical Academy), Tribunali street (7 minutes walking distance), S. Biagio dei librai , San Gregorio Armeno (13 minutes walking distance) and the historical Gesù Nuovo square and San Domenico Maggiore square (5 minutes walking distance). Among the main must-see, Archeological National Museum, Cappella San Severo, Catacombe of San Gennaro, underground Napoli, the amazing cathedral with San Gennaro treasure, Santa Chiara monastery with his amazing cloister are close to the apartment and easily reachable. The metro line 1 stop “ Museo” is a few minutes distant from the house. If you are interested in theatre, Bellini, San Carlo and Mercadante are also located nearby. With a longer walk (approximately 30 minutes) you can reach Plebiscito square and admire the world most beautiful seafront. The apartment is on the first floor, in a building with a lift. It is average 60 square meters, with 5 meters high curved ceiling, leaning on a silent private terrace, intended exclusively for use by guests. The entrance leads to the living room area, with a full furnished kitchen, in order to enjoy your time as much as possible. On the comfortable sofa you can rest, watch television or drink a typical neapolitan coffee. On the same floor, with an access from the living room, there is also another small room with a double bad. When reaching the upper floor, you will find a big room with a king size double bed and a small coach, a chest of drawers and a coat stand. The toilet, as you can see in the pictures, is comfortable, large and colorful, with a bath to rest after a long day. The apartment has a wi-fi connection, a full-hd television, independent heating system, bed linen, towels, washing machine, and, if needed, an iron. The apartment is a great solution for a young couple or a small group of friends interested in tourism and night life. Nevertheless, the home is also a perfect solution for a family with children; it can host up to 5 people (a king double bed on the upper floor, a double bed in the small room and, eventually, a small bed to be added on the upper floor). Our guest will certainly find a peaceful atmosphere (despite being in the heart of the old town) in a greatly located comfortable home and will enjoy having breakfast outside on the terrace.
