With only a short 5 minute walk you will find yourself visiting the Stony Point Penguins, viewing and exploring the Old Harbour and walking along the sea shore - what more could one ask for, all from your door step. Beautiful quiet area and perfect upper deck viewing to watch the day ending with magnificent sunsets! The space Living rooms: Open plan lounge / dining room has fireplace & sliding doors opening onto sea facing patio (please note you cannot see the sea from the downstairs patio) with indoor fireplace and BBQ/ Weber. NO TV but the house does have WIFI. Bedrooms 2 downstairs: Bedding & linen supplied, bring towels. 1. Double en-suite (shower, basin & toilet). 2. Double. Upstairs Loft: Twin single beds & bathroom (bath, basin & toilet) Loft opens onto deck with outdoor table & chairs for enjoying the sea & mountain views. The loft & deck are not suitable for the elderly or very young children. Bathroom 3 has shower, basin & toilet. There is a washing machine in this bathroom too. Kitchen: Fully equipped with fridge/freezer, stove, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher & all other utensils. Take the 5 minute walk to rocky seashore or the Stony Point penguin colony. 2 mins drive to Silversands Beach. Other things to note Mellys Place is a fully self catering house, however bedding and linen will be provided for the duration of your stay. PLEASE note you will need to bring your own towels and extra blankets for winter. The house can get cold in winter months so please ensure you bring plenty of firewood for the indoor fire place and extra blankets.
