Description
This quaint New Zealand Bach offers you an authentic NZ Bach experience .1 min walk from beach. Sunsets supreme. Beach is Wild West coast and drivable. 2 small bedrooms, linen and living room with sea views. Board games, local TV only , no WiFi ! Local store - alcohol, fast food,and essentials. 5 mins to golf course. 15 minute drive to Dargaville. 1 hour to Waipoua Forest. 2.5 Hours from Auckland. 50 mins to Whangarei. 30 minutes to Kai Iwi Lakes . Sorry-no WiFi, pets or wheel chair access. The Bach is authentic and NOT modern or luxurious. There is a kitchen with all you need if wanting to cook. There are loads of board games and a wild beach to explore and play on. There is a TV with local TV only. No WiFi means a complete switch off! Cleaning fee included in the price. There are 2 bedrooms one with a queen bed and one with a double bed. The living room is small but with ample space and has an open plan layout to the kitchen and 1 bathroom. There is a deck in the front and a small private area at the back with a large wooden table. There is a large lawn in front of the cottage for parking and the kids to play on. Access to the beach is a 1 min walk via a track directly in front of the Bach. The entire house is available to use, I am available via email and mobile anytime. However I do not live near the property. Our manager Is always on hand nearby should you need assistance or advice. The Bach is set among other Kiwi holiday homes and is in a quiet cul de sac at the bottom of a hill. There is pathway access to the beach in front of the property. As there is no gate on the property, small children need to be watched at all times. The area is extremely quiet especially during the off season. You can walk to the beach or to the local store and takeaway. There is a golf course 5 Mins up the road. The beach is over 100 km long and the longest drivable beach in NZ. It's an ideal location for day trips to Kai Iwi Lakes, Waipoua Forest , Trounson Park and further north. The West coast is wild and untamed and as good in winter as in summer. The giant cliffs and sand dunes make for great play areas for walks and children to explore. The beach is 10 mins from town with no public transport. The Bach is authentic and NOT luxurious at all. It does have everything you will need. It's an ideal getaway and escape from modern living. There is free to air TV only so not completely cut off! There are loads of Board Games and jigsaws. There is a BBQ for your use and secluded back area with large outdoor table. Access is up some steps to the deck so not suitable for wheel chairs or very small children unfortunately. The lawn is huge so ample parking and great area for kids to play on.
