The space Described by many of our guests as a warm and comfortable home from home, whether you wish to stay in and cook, get a take away or go out for dinner, this is somewhere that you will feel relaxed and look forward to staying. Upstairs there is a sizeable double bedroom with a double bed, small wardrobe, chest of drawers, large bedside storage, etc. The Velux windows are fitted with blackout blinds and the room is light and airy. All bedding is hypoallergenic and crisp cotton bed linen. The room in under the eaves so there is limited head height at the extreme perimeter of the room. Downstairs you will find a fully equipped kitchen and breakfast bar as well as a separate dining area. The fridge and cupboard will be full of goodies for breakfast and afternoon tea including fresh coffee, tea, milk, butter, eggs, bread, biscuits, homemade jams, etc. The sitting area has views onto the patio and over the stunning city of Bath and a Fire stick TV with Netflix, Now, Disney+, iPlayer, etc. A sliding door leads you onto a private terrace with table and chairs overlooking the Royal Crescent and the Unesco Georgian city. This is one of the best view in Bath and ideal for sitting out with a cup of tea or a glass of something stronger. Tea service and glasses supplied. There are books and games to keep you entertained and plenty of tourist information. Off the sitting area you will find a pristine warm modern downstairs shower room complete with toiletries, bathmat and heated towel rail. Fluffy bath and hand towels are provided. If you are looking for a quiet, clean and private apartment where you can walk in have a shower, make a cup of tea and put your feet up before or after a day in the city then we would love to host you. Guest access Private, gated parking in our driveway means that the city can be easily accessed on foot or by bus (2 stops). 5 minutes taxi ride from Bath Spa train station. EV charging available. Other things to note The famous Menu Gordon Jones restaurant is at 150m but you will need to book well in advance for this treat. We will send you a full list of recommended eateries in the city and are happy to advise you. Bath is a pedestrianised city and car use discouraged. Our house is down a secluded drive and very quiet while the city centre bustle is only minutes away by foot or bus. Good local shops including Co-op, deli, Cook, cafe, pharmacy and gastro pub around the corner. At the top of the hill is Alexandra Park with the most spectacular views over the city and the Avon valley. Our visitors guide will give you lots of local information as to what to see and where to eat and feel free to ask any questions of this nature before your visit. If you wish to venture out of the city there is a good train link to Bristol (13 -15 minutes). Other places to visit include Bradford on Avon, Wells, Glastonbury, Westonbirt Arboretum, Solsbury Hill, Corsham, Dyrham Park, Lacock, etc
