Old house in a nice little mountain village 960 meters above sea level. Vintage trapper atmosphere! Lots of recent amenities. Available: books, nature guides, binoculars, IGN maps, board games, audio system... Possibility to hike on site without taking the car! Ideal for a quiet stay in the heart of the authentic Ariège. The space Very well equipped accommodation: you will have an induction cooktop, oven, dishwasher, Senseo pod coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, microwave, barbecue... Génat is close to many points of interest: Parc de la Préhistoire, caves, Orlu Valley, Port de Lers, Soulcem Lake... and not far from several winter sports resorts: Goulier Neige, Plateau de Beille, Ax-les-Thermes, Ascou Pailhères. All amenities 15 minutes away (Tarascon-sur-Ariège) via a winding mountain road but without particular difficulties. Heating: wood-burning stove (wood provided), electric and oil. Wi-Fi and TV via Freebox. Baby cot, toys, children's literature on request. Small consumables are available to start your stay (sugar, salt, pepper, spices and various herbs, oil, paper towels, toilet paper, sponge, dishwashing liquid and cleaning kit). In the other bedroom: two stackable single beds (80 x 200), serving as a sofa. Possibility to couple them to form the equivalent of a double bed, with either two duvets for 1 person, or a duvet for 2 people. We provide sheets, towels and tea towels. Ideal rental for up to 4 people (please note that the sofa in the second bedroom consists of two stackable beds and cushions and that if the beds are left in place... there is no longer a sofa in front of the TV!). This is our vacation home, which we have completely restored with special care to decoration and equipment. We provide many personal activities and items, which make it an atypical accommodation compared to conventional accommodation. Guest access You will have access to the entire space, except the attic which serves as our storage space.
