This traditional cottage with all commodities (100sqm) is surrounded by a closed garden (900sqm) hosting a private swimming pool (4m by 9m). It is located in a famous and peaceful village (CANTOBRE) located at the hearth of the "GRANDS CAUSSES" area The space La Bergerie is an old building of about 100M2 located at the top of the village, on a large private garden of 900 m2 with a swimming pool. Its orientation towards the south allows it to benefit from a beautiful sunshine and a panoramic view on the village and the valley of Dourbie, towards Nant. Equipped with all the desired comfort (electrical appliances, Wifi, TV, DVD, ...) it will allow you to spend a pleasant stay in a perfectly calm place in communion with nature. The swimming pool (8x4m) is strictly reserved for the tenants and is open from June to September, which allows an optimal use in a remarkable setting. Our holiday home is authentic and located in a still preserved setting. You can enjoy its charms in all seasons. We love to stay here all year round to enjoy the fresh air in the morning on the terrace at breakfast and to contemplate a beautiful sunset in the evening with a glass of rosé around the pool or by the fire in winter. You can explore the many hiking trails in the area. The walks on the different causses will allow you to see typical landscapes and meet many craftsmen and producers. It is an authentic land that you can explore at your leisure, the causse du Larzac and the causse noir offer notably very diversified places. The Dourbies canyon and the nearby Tarn gorges are ideal for swimming and canoeing. There are many nature activities (La cité des Pierres, le belvédère des vautours, caves, accro-rocs, vélo-rail, etc...... and other leisure activities). For those who love historical places, the numerous Templar cities in the vicinity will seduce them (and the children too, for whom these cities often organise fun discovery activities). The town of Millau and the surrounding villages with their farmers' markets are rich in history. The region also organises many festivals which enliven the towns in the summer, but also out of season. This accomodation will suit to people looking for extreme experiences (canoe on the Dourbie or Tarn river, climbing, paragliding, caves explorations,...) as well as to people looking for peaceful holidays. This accomodation offers all facilities your family will need for a nice trip (satellite tv, dsl connection with wifi access, generic household appliances, baby bed,...). Guest access Cars must be parked at the entrance to the village (50m from the house). Other things to note The organisation of festive events is not allowed to ensure the quietness of the property. The house has one bathroom and a small shower room, and has two separate hot water tanks. Tenants are responsible for maintaining the pool to ensure it is in good working order, following the instructions provided (ph test, water refill, addition of products and filter changes, etc.). The pool heating system can only work if the outside and night temperatures are sufficient. The garden is not fully enclosed and safe for very small children or people with reduced mobility. We ask guests to clean up before departure.
