Shops, restaurants, ski schools, swimming pool, spa just downstairs. Balcony with view on the centre of the resort, very bright and quiet. Independent toilet and bathroom with bath. Kitchenette with electric hob, electric oven, dishwasher, toaster, coffee-machine and raclette grill. Ideal for holidays with friends or families with kids. The space The flat has 4 main qualities: 1- It is located on the 6th floor and has a large balcony exposed West with open view on the centre of the village, where you can see your friends or kids skiing or enjoy the sunset. It makes the flat very bright and the double glazed windows ensure it is at the same time quiet. The balcony is also perfect to store your equipment. 2- All rooms have an independent access from/to the toilet and the bathroom; the bedroom can be separated from the living room with folding door or both rooms can be combined to make a large room. Lot of storage space available. TV with the TNT channels in several languages. Kitchenette equipped with a hob with 4 electric rings, a fridge, a dishwasher (with a child-security system), an electric oven, a toaster and a coffee machine. 3- The apartment is right in the centre of the resort (ski in ski out) with all the shops, restaurants, ski rentals or activities (ice-skating, swimming, spa, bowling, etc.) in front of or very near the entrance. It is also very close to the well-known ski schools "le village des enfants" or "école du ski francais" (ESF). Lessons are available in French and English for both adults and kids. 4- We have included everything for your comfort no matter if you are with friends or kids; you will enjoy in particular the raclette-grill, as well as the possibility to play cards, chests, games or read the books available (in English, French or Russian). Our little guests will enjoy the travel cot at their disposal, the bath and the toys available. A kit for babies (incl. a cotbed and an high-chair) can also be hired via "Pierre et Vacances" at the ground floor. We look forward to greeting you! Guest access Avoriaz is a car-free resort, located at 80km from Geneva airport. It is even closer to the fast-speed train stations Thonon-les-bains (40km) and Cluses (20km). If you arrive by Eurostar it is also not too far from Lyon. You can rent a car and leave it in one of the car parks or travel entirely car-free if you book a transfer from the airport or station (2 hours from Geneva). Other things to note Avoriaz is the ideal place to maximise time on ski! It is at 1800m so snow is guaranteed, as well as the sun! This is a lovely human-size resort, also very family-friendly.
