This self-contained and stand-alone bungalow sits along our backyard with seperate driveway & entrance. The studio includes a comfortable king bed, fireplace, ensuite bathroom, kitchenette, outdoor deck & BBQ. We are nestled in the national park area with only trails and waterfalls nearby, the area is quiet making it a peaceful getaway from the city & into nature. Come prepared with food or snacks as the nearest town is Yarram, 20-minutes away. Follow us @wild_falls The space Our bungalow: The kitchenette includes a toaster and kettle, single induction stove with a pot or pan to cook with, mini bar fridge, salt, pepper, cutlery, crockery and basic cooking utensils. Tea, coffee, sugar is also provided. Your own personal BBQ on the bungalow deck. There’s no oven or microwave so please plan food prep accordingly. - The room includes an oil heater and pot belly fireplace. Guests are welcome to bring their own firewood but we can supply a basket (approx 25kg) that we personally chop for $30 during winter ( we don’t offer firewood in spring/summer). Please pre-order before your stay otherwise may not be able to guarantee it will be available - Large comftorable king bed comes with linen and blankets. - Toiletries (shampoo, conditioner and body wash) supplied along with fresh towels. - An assortment of books and board games for your entertainment - Accessibility to Tarra River right out front of our property to take a dip on a hot day or relax and have a picnic - Guests have full access to the farm to walk around and meet the animals. You’re welcome to give them any scrap (chopped) veggies and they particularly love wheetbix for anyone wanting to spoil them. For couples wanting more privacy, our cottage option is further from our house, much larger with more ammenities. You can find it on Airbnb as Wildfalls “Cottage”. Important info on WIFI: There is limited 4G in the area once you hit the park area, and none of the residents or caravan parks on tarra valley road have 4G… but we have satellite wifi which guests can use in the bungalow to connect and surf the web. We use wifi calling or whats-app to make calls. Overall it’s very reliable but can weaken during bad weather such as strong winds. Our Farm We are located on a 20- acre property with alpacas, cows, goats, chickens, emus, peacocks and resident chicken babysitter, Lilly (a farm dog) . Our newest residents are a pair of emus who are very inquisitive. We foster care bobby calves through rescue til the cows come home, although this is once a year for a short time. You can follow us on @wild_falls to meet the whole fur family. The animals always love attention, but feel free to ignore them if it’s not your thing. More About the Area. We live in the beautiful area of Tarra Valley which is an extension of Tarra Bulga National Park. The entire area between us and the national park (when coming off the M1) is a picturesque drive with lots of wildlife to spot. The main park entrance is a 30-minute drive from us, which includes the famous Corrigan’s Suspension Bridge, and there are trails such as Cyathea Falls, only 15 mins away. Port Albert and Woodside beach are 30 minutes. We are just over an hour from Wilson’s Prom national park where guests frequently enjoy a day trip. Wilson’s prom has the famous squeaky beach and mt Oberon track to watch an epic sunset. Since we’re in a national park amidst Forrest, fern gulleys and wildlife, we’re off the beaten track. But everything you’d need - Woolies supermarket, Takeaway options, cafes and a pub is a short 20 minute drive away in the local town of Yarram. It’s a small rural town so it’s quiet at night and food options close about 9pm. No no Guest access The driveway leading up to the bungalow is exclusive for guests so feel free to park anywhere on the gravel. Stick to the gravel and avoid the grass so you don’t get bogged. Other things to note We only accomodate 2 adults in our bungalow. If bringing children, please take a look at our Wild Falls “cottage” option which has 2 bedrooms and a much larger space overall
