Just 10 minutes from North Spokane and Whitworth University there is abundant wildlife in this area including turkey, deer, bald eagles an The space Winterwoods Retreat is an apartment is located in the basement of our home with a separate driveway and entrance featuring lockbox key access. Although it is a basement apartment, it has an egress window and front door with windows which bring in lots of natural light. The space was built 2018 and is a dedicated short term rental apartment. Beautiful pine French doors open to the one bedroom where you'll find a queen sized bed (brand new, super comfortable mattress), high quality pillows and bedding . A portacrib is available upon request for babies traveling with you. In addition to the bedroom there is also a living room with a new queen sofa bed perfect for kids. A coffee corner features a microwave, mini fridge and Keurig coffee maker. We invite you to enjoy several varieties of loose tea made by our Spokane owned tea company, Winterwoods Tea Company. Guests love the extra large, sparkling clean bathroom with standup shower and quality towels. This beautiful space is perfect for those visiting Whitworth University, attending weddings on GreenBluff, or just checking out Spokane. If you have extended family members traveling with you and need a larger space or additional Airbnb space please ask about our discounts for booking more than one of our vacation rentals. Although we aim to provide a restful and peaceful environment for our guests you may hear muffled footsteps from above similar to what you would expect from an apartment living situation. Please note that there is an outdoor motion activated light and Ring camera that monitors outside steps and outside front door. We are close to popular Greenbluff (5 miles), an association a small family farms and food stands. Seasonal activities include pick your own fruit and annual festivals. Greenbluff is a wonderful place to take family, kids or out of town guests. Each farm has something a little bit different, so be sure to wander and explore… There are also a couple of wineries including the Wildland Cooperative, Townsend wine tasting and a couple breweries, our favorite being Big Barn Brewery. There are many gift shops and antique places to visit well.. Greenbluff is also home to many wedding venues.
