A very nice and peaceful small apartment, with no view and not bright because on the groundfloor, but located only a few meters away from the sea and promenade of Camogli in the heart of the hystorical centre. Refurbished to the highest standards and well equipped with towels, sheets, blankets, coffee maker, kettle and a very fast Vodafone fiber connection, while maintaining the spirit of an old fishermen's home. The space Camogli Home is on the GROUNDFLOOR, so you don't have a view, but you don't have to climb up steep stairs to reach the house !! ( only FIVE STEPS UP and FOUR DOWN to get to the inner court where the flat is). This is quite uncommon in Liguria. Therefore it's ideal for old people or families with small children or just people who like being confortable. Although it is situated right in the centre near shops, supermarkets, restaurants and coffe bars, it is very quiet and peaceful because it doesn't overlook the street, but is at the rear of the building. Walls are very thick so the house is very cool and in the summer the air conditioning is nearly not necessary. The bathroom is small, but has everything you need. The flat is also provided with a very innovative AIR TREATMENT SYSTEM that works at its best with all flat windows closed (like air conditioning), purifying the air coming from outside and making it free from all pollutants, smog, particulate dust and allergenes like pollen and mould. This system also keeps the right level of humidity inside the flat, adjusting itself automatically depending on the season and on the number of people living inside. Nonetheless, being the flat so near the sea and in particularly highly humid periods of the year, there might be a bit of humidity. In this case there are also the dehumidifiers (it is one of the functions of the air conditioning) that solve the problem. Other things to note TOURIST TAX from 1st January 2026: 3 euro per night per person for the first 7 days. Children under 15 are excluded. It is due on check out day. PARKING The house is located right in Camogli centre, which is a pedestrian zone, so there are no parking spaces very near the house. There are anyway some pay and display car parks at five minutes' walk, for example in PIAZZA MATTEOTTI or in VIA GIO BONO FERRARI, in front of the hotel Cenobio dei Dogi and one between Recco and Camogli in front of Gulliver supermarket in VIA RUFFINI 25. There are also some free parking spaces in Camogli (with white stripes) like in Corso MAZZINI, VIA BETTOLO, VIA CUNEO and even in PIAZZA MATTEOTTI, but you must be very lucky to find one, especially in high season (from May to September). During low season it is much easier and it's worth trying. Check the signs carefully because parking disk might be required or because one day a month, parking is forbidden due to street cleaning. My suggestion anyway is to stop in Recco, where it is much more likely to find one, and get either the bus to Camogli or the train to Sestri Levante ( it’s only one stop) or even have a nice walk (it is at about 800 m. distance from the house).
