Ex-Convent BnB Lodge in Stratford -Exclusive Use

Cadence BnB, an ex-convent, is a 7 bed room, 4 bathroom lodge 20 minutes from Egmont National Park. a continental Breakfast is provided as well as all linen, towels and WIFI shampoo, conditioner and bodywash. Hosts Ross and Rosanne Barker live in the private front part of the residence. You are not staying in their space - only sharing with other guests. A small kitchenette has two hobs, microwave, fridge/freezer, bench top oven, electric frypan but no oven. Pots, pans, plates provided. The space The 7 comfortable bedrooms and delightful lounge/dining area provide a very private , peaceful stay for our visitors. It is important to understand that although we have a generous number of small bedrooms to sleep 12, the lounge /dining room which used to be the convent chapel is small. Because of the lack of oven and small kitchenette this facility is not suitable for groups wanting lo do lots of cooking. We have a great cook who provides wonderful meals. The rooms are simply but freshly decorated. Each bedroom has new carpet, a vanity and a space to hang your clothes. Bedrooms 1, 2, 6 and 7 have wardrobes. A USB charging station is installed in your room along with a vanity and TV. The new bathroom suite offers two shower rooms, and two well proportioned toilet rooms with hair drying facilities. Hiring Cadence Bed and Breakfast gives you access to shared kitchen, lounge, and bathrooms and the gardens outside rooms 2, 3, 4 and 5. A continental Breakfast is included in your fee . The lounge can be used for dining, working, watching TV, DVD's and Netflix or for curling up with a good book or magazine. Because we are not charging you a cleaning fee we ask you to pick up all rubbish and deposit in appropriate bins, leave your room and kitchen neat and tidy with all dishes washed and put away. Guest access If you are staying here you can park on the street or in our off street parking if space permits. You can access the garden and outdoor seating area through some of the bedrooms as they have a ranch slider into the garden. The residence is separated from the lodge by a swing door. As a guest you have access to the kitchenette, bathrooms, and lounge/dining. when you arrive I will issue you with a back door code for easy access to the property. Other things to note You need to know that our family live in the nuns' living quarters at the front so planning a noisy party is probably not a good idea. You have their 7 bedrooms, their bathrooms, and their chapel which is now a cozy lounge/ dining area. We live in what was the music room, first aid room and their lounge -kitchen space. We do access our laundry, garage through the hallway of the lodge but when a group is renting the whole place we are happy to walk around the outside. I do come in to set out your breakfast in the morning. Let me know what time you would like to eat. I also clean the bathrooms daily and collect dirty kitchen linen and wet towels from the bathrooms and wash them in the shared laundry. We have a bishon friese dog who will think that you are his new best friend but he knows that he is not allowed in the lodge Regarding children, we enjoy hosting them but ask that you guide them in respecting our property and help them choose games and activities that are age appropriate. We have changed our official check in to 3pm but some days we may be available from 2pm.
