Bergerie Costemale, beautiful view of the Pyrenees

At an altitude of 620 meters in the heart of the Pyrenees, the Costemale sheepfold enjoys a breathtaking view of the Montaigu peak. Its south-facing exposure, its swimming pool, its sumptuous panorama of the surrounding countryside and its calm will enchant you. Located in the middle of 2 mythical valleys of the Pyrenees (Campan Valley and Valley of the Gaves) and their iconic passes (Tourmalet, Aspin, Hourquette d 'Ancizan). The major sites are the Cirque de Gavarnie, the Pic du Midi and the Pont d 'Espagne. The space The sheepfold was renovated in 2012, it keeps its traditional look outside, with a modern twist inside. It consists of a large living room on the ground floor ,an equipped American kitchen, a bathroom with walk-in shower, a toilet, and a bedroom with a double bed. Upstairs are two bedrooms (1 with double bed, 1 with two single beds), a mezzanine with sofa and children's play room, a bathroom and a toilet . Outside, the heated pool from 04/01 to 10/31, the 1500 m2 chestnut tree and fenced park with views of the Pyrenees mountain range will welcome you for meals in a 20 m2 summer kitchen with its plancha or barbecue or restful naps after your hikes. Guest access In the center of the Pyrenees mountain range, Astugue, a small village of medium mountains located between 2 valleys: Campan valley and Gaves valley, will seduce you with its quiet and peaceful environment. You can practice all mountain activities in one or the other of the valleys such as downhill skiing and snowboarding at Grand Tourmalet (La Mongie and Barège, the largest resort in the Pyrenees) 45 minutes away and Hautacam (family resort) 45 minutes away, cross-country skiing, sledding and snowshoeing at the Payolle resort (at the foot of the Aspin pass) 35 minutes away, hiking, biking, mountain biking, climbing, whitewater sports, fishing, paragliding... Astugue is conveniently located near the largest sites in the Pyrenees such as the Pic du Midi de Bigorre, the Cirque de Gavarnie (UNESCO heritage), the Pont d'Espagne and the Néouvielle nature reserve. About 8 km from Bagnères de bigorre, thermal and thermoludic city and 12 km from Lourdes and its Sanctuary, Astugue is a strategic place for a successful and varied holiday for families or friends.
