A unique 1840s converted stable located in the grounds of Twamley Farm homestead. The Stable is a beautifully renovated two storey sandstone building overlooking the hills of Twamley Farm and nestled under English oaks. The Stable features your own private outdoor cedar hot tub. The traditional wood fired hot tub offers blissful, therapeutic soaking in the beautiful surrounds of Twamley Farm. The Stable is perfect as a romantic country getaway. There is a stunning queen size bedroom located on the upper level with ensuite bathroom, whilst downstairs is a contemporary open plan living/dining area and fully equipped kitchen. The Stable offers a well stocked gourmet mini bar, full breakfast provisions, Nespresso coffee pod machine and gourmet pre-prepared meals on hand. You will enjoy relaxing by the wood fire with a glass of our local East Coast pinot noir or getting out in the country air, exploring the farm and surrounding bushland. Grab one of our mountain bikes and explore Twamley Farm's many bush trails. Guests can enjoy the garden at the Twamley Farm homestead, including an outdoor terrace with BBQ and woodfired hot tub specifically for The Stable accommodation. The host lives onsite and is available to assist throughout your stay. Twamley Farm offers a series of short and longer bushwalks that allow you to explore the farm and is the perfect base to go behind the scenery and discover some of the East Coast's hidden treasures. Visit the magical Maria Island National Park for the day (ferry departs from the Triabunna Marina) a must see for any visitor to our Spring Bay region. Alternatively, discover the intriguing story behind the historic St John the Baptist Church Buckland, explore the local beaches or enjoy a drive up the East Coast Wine Route to visit the many vineyards along the way. You could just stop a while, wind down, relax, enjoy a beer at the Buckland pub and get to know some of the interesting local characters. Twamley Farm is accessed via a well maintained gravel road that is approximately 5kms from the Tasman Highway.
