Our accommodation consists of apartment with two bedrooms (each with modern bathroom and kitchen) and lobby area and garden. The space Konavle is the most southern Croatian region, 20 km from Dubrovnik, which covers an area of 209 km2 with 9500 inhabitants and 33 smaller and larger settlements. It is very famous for its intact nature, beautiful walking paths, Konavle cliffs with the beach Pasjača, and Horseback riding. Popovići Popovici is one of the picturesque villages of Konavle with two hundred residents who live in the traditional stone houses. This village is located in the southern part of Konavle, it is surrounded with intact nature, pine forests, hiking trails, amazing viewpoints, pleasant climate especially at night, where you can take a rest and relax without air conditioning even in the warmest summer months, with long-forgotten sound of complete silence where only sounds of crickets can be heard during the night. House Klaić Our family as well as county house foundations are dating from of 14th century. Today, this house, as a part of house complex Klaići, special architectural site, is protected by UNESCO as a cultural monument of high value. During the Croatian war for Independence in 1991, the house was highly damaged. It was renovated again in period (phone number hidden). and completely finished in spring 2013. Guest access Our apartment consists of two bedrooms interconected (each room has the bathroom and the fully equipped kitchen). It is very suitable for familly or two cuples. In addition guests can relax in lobby area and garden. This accommodation is located in a traditional family house of rich rural architecture. The house, as a part of house complex Klaići, special architectural site, is protected by UNESCO as a cultural monument of high value. Architectural complex, beside this house, consists of traditional place for meat drying, Chapel of Our Lady of Health, other commercial buildings like stables and storehouses. Country house Konavle is situated in a quiet environment away from the noise, surrounded by typical Mediterranean vegetation, walking trails, close to Konavle cliffs beneath which lies a hidden sandy beach “Pasjača”. The apartment and the whole house were fully reconstructed in the past ten years in a modern way with clearly expressed traditional style that fully reflects the spirit of the times in which it was made . Apartment consists of two modern bathrooms , two kitchen sections (fridge, electric kettle, kitchen accessories, toaster ,oven ,microwave ), two double bed (which can be separated into two comfortable single beds ), anteroom, two wardrobes, two tables , four armchairs , baby cot (on request), two LCD TV with more than a thousand satellite and local channels, complimentary wireless internet, two inverter air – conditioning, iron and ironing board (on request) , wooden floor, hairdryers, complimentary toiletries, and solar water heating systems. Possibility to arrange a breakfast. Area apartment: 44 square meters. Guests have at disposal indoor lobby space with comfortable furniture (30 m2 ), nice garden and barbecue. Other things to note Airport Distance from International Airport Dubrovnik is 5 km. Transfer can be arranged with the owner. Port Dubrovnik passenger port is 25 km, Cavtat local port is 10km. Car Adriatic road (Route D8) airport direction Cilipi, and after 1 km from the Airport, turn right to County road (board Popovici 5km is seen). Continue driving next 5 km and turn right to house which is reachable after 150 meters from the road. Covered parking place included complimentary.
