The water tower is a bespoke home in an historic building sensitively converted by its architect owner. The tower is located in the historic town of Dalkeith and the settlement of Eskbank. 20 minutes by car from Edinburgh airport. A bus service into Edinburgh stops every 10- 15 minutes, the bus stop is a 2 minute walk away. 25 minutes by rail to the Scottish Borders or to the centre of Edinburgh from the local Eskbank Train Station, a 20 minute walk from the tower. The space The property is offered for guests use for a minimum of 3 nights . The property is ideally suited to 2 guests, but does sleep 4 people. The entrance hallway is spacious for storing travel items. There is a double bed in each bedroom on the 1st and 2nd floors. Each bedroom has it's own en suite toilet and wash hand basin. The bespoke kitchen is on the 3rd floor. The main bathroom on the 4th floor has a double tub and shower. The living space is on the 5th floor with access to the balcony. The balcony has stunning 360 deg views of Midlothian and beyond. Guest access Free on-street parking and only busy when the adjacent tennis club host a competition. Owners have a private parking space on the adjacent property should this be needed for guests. However, it is highly unusual for guests not to be able to park directly outside the water tower. Other things to note There is a 3 court private tennis club opposite the tower, available for reservation via the Dalkeith Lawn Tennis Club web page.
