The beauty of the original building combines perfectly with the modern style of the recent remodelling, achieving a perfect mix between present and past. Stay in the French Consul's apartment, sit down and watch people stroll through the plantain tree full Rambla (Portbou’s main avenue). Open the front door and join them, walk towards the beach and follow the path that will take you to our beautiful coves. Breath in and feel the inspiration of this beautiful site. During many years this building served as home and office of the French Consul, which was of a significant importance during the Spanish Civil War. The only thing you need for your holiday in Portbou is your swimming gear and your clothes, we’ll provide the rest. We are here to help you have your best holidays. Guest access The building was completely remodelled in 2014 and now we are renting its 4 apartments for the first time in this magical place. Everything is brand new! The apartment has a consulate motif because of its relation to the building. It is a lovely apartment facing the main avenue. The apartment consists of: A bedroom with a queen size bed and a double wardrobe A living room with a sofa bed, TV and a dining table A fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, fridge and washing machine. Bathroom with shower plate.
