A luxuriously appointed annex in the premier Cotswold village of Lower Slaughter. The 2 large ensuite bedrooms both have beautiful crisp white bedding and the most comfortable kingsize beds imaginable! Downstairs you’ll find a well equipped modern kitchen with an oven/grill, a ceramic hob and a microwave/grill. Both ensuite’s have Grohe rain showers, but you’ll have to toss a coin for who gets the cast-iron roll-top bath. Come and unwind here and explore the Cotswolds. We’d love to host you. The space The Slaughters (Upper & Lower) have been voted the UK’s prettiest village. Lower Slaughter is a very quiet and peaceful place to spend time. The only sound is usually the bird song and there are numerous beautiful country walks that start only a 2 minute walk away. We have a gated driveway with space for 2 cars (one behind the other). There is a path along the side of the house which leads to your door. Once inside you will be in your kitchen. Up one flight of stairs are your bedrooms. The whole annex will be spotlessly clean ready for your arrival. Please note: I might need access to your kitchen during your stay to use the shared laundry facilities, but I will only do this while you're out exploring. Also, please note that your kitchen backs on to my kitchen. There is a firedoor between them, but as the floors are stone some sound will travel. We usually have the radio on in ours when we're home and there is a radio in yours, so hopefully this will help you feel relaxed and at home. We have 2 children who are usually quiet except for the odd accident. You won't hear them upstairs, as that is completely detached from our house, but you might very occasionally hear them in your kitchen or if they're out playing in the garden. Other things to note Travelling by Train: If you’re not driving here and planning to come by train to Kingham or Morton in Marsh, then you’ll need to book a taxi in advance as they tend to get booked up and Uber has not reached the Cotswolds yet. We’re a 15 min taxi ride from both stations.
