Private island in Sunbury on Thames

We live on a traffic-free, secure and private island on the River Thames. Our house is one of only ten properties on this quiet stretch of the river. The island is a tranquil setting and yet central London is only a 25 minute train journey away. With parking on the mainland, access to our home is a five minute walk via a private tarmac footpath and footbridge. Sunbury village has a plentiful supply of pubs and restaurants, all of which are within a short walking distance from our home. The space The guest bedroom is on the ground floor of our home. Guests have their own key and are able to come and go as they please. The room is at the front of the house and is immediately accessed without having to walk through the main rooms. Breakfast is provided in the River Room and will be served by us. Guest access The bedroom is self-contained with a small private en-suite bathroom. Guests are very welcome to enjoy the riverside and woodland gardens. During your stay Either my husband or I will be available throughout the stay. Other things to note Access to the house, front and back, is via six steps. The house is a five minute walk from the mainland. It is a very easy walk but guests need to consider that everything they need for their stay will have to be brought down the path (a trolley is available). Car parking is in Loudwater Road or in the public car park (no more than 100 yds from the gate).
