The Mizen - ideal 'get away from it all' living

The Mizen is located at the end of a private road in the wonderful village of Rye Harbour just a stone's throw from Rye Harbour Nature Reserve. A peaceful location but only a 5 minute drive to Rye and 10 minute drive to Camber Sands. The Mizen is arranged over three floors with 2 double bedrooms and 2 twin rooms with 3 bathrooms and so comfortably sleeps 6 - 8 people. It is perfect for a relaxing break for families, couples or groups of friends seeking that 'get away from it all' feeling. Rye Harbour is a working harbour located close to the estuary of the River Rother with an active fishing fleet. It’s not a picture-postcard village designed for tourists, but an established, friendly community of fishermen, artisans and labourers, in which many generations have lived all their lives. Tram Road is an unmade shingle track with a hotchpotch of new and ramshackle properties, giving a distinctly bohemian feel to the area. Drive slowly as it can get a little bumpy! The property is located at the end of tram road in a terrace of 4 large properties. The village is well served with a general store, two local friendly pubs and cafes, one of which displays the works of local artists. It’s ideal for a walking holiday and you’ll be spoilt for choice by the sheer range of walks and cycle routes that can be taken directly from the front door.
