"The Bunga", short for bungalow is a two story dwelling built from local stone and inspired by the stone houses of France. Located in the small coastal town of Shoreham, adjacent to a park, it is close to the beach, wineries, restaurants, cafes and other attractions. Guests have access to one bedroom with ensuite and have the entire building to themselves. The space What myself and the family call "The Bunga", short for bungalow is a two story dwelling built from local stone and inspired by the stone houses of France. Located in the small coastal town of Shoreham it is close to the beach, wineries, restaurants, cafes and other attractions. It has two bedrooms (one of which is available to guests) with an en suite. It has a full kitchen, television and living space with a spiral staircase to the upstairs bedrooms (which can be locked). The house is well insulated, cool in summer and warm in winter, has an open fire place and split system. It has great natural light and opens out onto a quiet park and you will often see King Parrots in the backyard and hear the song of Magpies in the morning. The accommodation is set adjacent to my parents house who are kind and welcoming, love the air bnb experience and are always keen to offer advice on places to visit as they have lived here for over 30 years. If the beach is your thing you can take a short walk or a 1 minute drive down the road to the back of Pt Leo/Shoreham beaches (the quiet end). Please note: the building offers most amenities, however does not have a laundry or wifi. Arrangements can be made for use of a washing machine if needed and wifi can generally be obtained by standing outside if desperate. Many of the cafes have wifi and there is a laundromat in Balnarring (less then a 10 minute drive). The building also shares a backyard. I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have and my goal is to make you feel at home and welcomed to this amazing area. Guest access Guests will have the building to themselves. The only room that isn't accessible is the second bedroom. With an adjacent park, guests can park just off the road and have private access to the building. Other things to note The bedrooms are accessed via a spiral staircase. I have had an elderly couple that found the staircase a little difficult. Please note that these were the only people that have noted this as an issue. Being close to many of the fantastic wineries and restaurants makes The Bunga a great location. Some of the wineries that are very close by are: Montalto Pt Leo Estate (Head chef Phil Wood from Rockpool in Sydney) Pier 10 Tucks Ridge Jackalope Ten Minutes by Tractor Polperro...and the list goes on.
