Description
Cosy, romantic en suite Shepherd's hut, with double bed and wood burning stove, set in a private orchard with garden on the edge of the village of Porlock. Private access. We do not provide breakfast but there is a fridge. We are 5 minutes walk to pubs and tea rooms and 10 minutes walk to beach. Tents can be pitched for children on request for a small extra fee. There is a shower in the en-suite, towels are provided, and soap. there are electrical sockets and tea and coffee, and milk The space This secluded hut on the edge of the Exmoor National Park is just a 10 minute walk away from open moorland or the beach. The tranquil village of Porlock with a range of village shops, pubs and a church is just 5 minutes walk away. Logs for the wood burner are included. The shepherd's hut is an excellent base for walking, cycling and equestrian activities. There are no other huts here, so it's a very private stay. Parking is right next to the hut, and tea and coffee making facilities are there too. In the bathroom there is a Swedish 'Separett' waterless loo, full size shower and a basin, the hut has its own boiler so the water supply and shower are amazing! you're welcome to bring your own BBQ for use here. Guest access The orchard in which the Hut sits is a private space that isn't really overlooked and the section of this space which is fenced as a private garden is included with your stay. Also there is a parking space next to the Hut which is included. Guests have private separate access to the orchard. there are no steps apart from three steps up into the hut. Other things to note The cost of using the hot tub is £50 per two nights, plus a £10 log bag. This strictly has to be paid before your arrival or it won't be made ready for you. You can pay via PP or bank transfer. Payment details in welcome msg. Further logs are available at £10 per bag, although the first bag is usually enough for two days.
