Our lovely apartment is situated in a historic listed building dating back to 1850. It has been fully modernised. It is right in the heart of Edinburgh’s historic Old Town, in a beautiful old street full of quaint shops, cafes and nice restaurants. The space Our apartment is a home away from home in the very centre of the city, and is perfect for visiting Edinburgh’s most famous sites and attractions. There is one double bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a lovely bathroom with a shower, and a sitting room / dining area. There is a 40 inch High Definition TV in the sitting room with c200 channels to enjoy. For wifi needs you will have access to a very fast broadband service (100 Mbps). In the kitchen area you can enjoy an array of coloured overhead LED lighting options. There is underfloor heating in the bathroom. Guest access The apartment will be completely your own during your stay in Edinburgh to come and go as you wish. There is a secure front door entry system and you will have your own set of keys. Other things to note The accommodation cost includes an 18.5% Airbnb service charge. This is automatically taken by Airbnb from the total accommodation cost of every booking made on the platform. There is now no separate additional service charge for guests. Edinburgh is introducing a Visitor Tax of an additional 5% of the total accommodation cost for all visits to the city from 24th July 2026. This additional amount will not be charged to guests at this apartment. The host is absorbing that tax amount and paying it on guests’ behalf. The apartment is licensed for self catering accommodation by City of Edinburgh Council (Licence number EH-69846-R). The EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) rating of the apartment is C. The apartment is on the first floor, up two short flights of stairs. Self check in is not available at this apartment. You will be welcomed in person by the host. On-street parking is available close to the apartment and multi-storey car parks are about 10 minutes walk away. As the apartment is in the city centre this is expensive however. If travelling to Edinburgh by car you may also wish to consider a Park and Ride or parking for free in the suburbs and taking a bus or taxi into the centre.
